In this case. Yes. More often than not group exercise classes are overcrowded and overpopulated. Your coach doesn’t see you, let alone know your name. You never learn anything, so you chase calories burned instead as a sign that it’s been a good work out. You leave feeling more beaten up than built up.

We refuse to do that. Our priority is you and your experience. We want you to feel like a part of this community, not just another face in the crowd. That’s the real boutique experience.

So yes, in this case: smaller is better. This isn’t quantity over quality fitness. This is putting a real premium on your body, your health and your overall well-being fitness.

THE CLASSES

  • Strength Lab

    Small Group Personal training sessions focusing on coaches lift or movement pattern of choice, cycling across 4 weeks. Breakdown technique, form and build strength and muscle in this slightly slower, but heavier, technical 60 minute session. The next best thing to PT but with a sense of much loved group camaraderie.

  • StrengthCon

    Bring the heat in this high intensity class with a combination of strength & conditioning, all designed to challenge your cardiovascular threshold and endurance. It’s a fiery one. 50 minute Class.Starting with the lift or skill of the day, we’ll work on form + technique and build to heavy reps across the 4 week cycle. Expect to finish each session with a blast of conditioning to improve your cardiovascular threshold. 45 or 60 minute class.

  • Signature

    Our signature class concept. Create solid foundations with this whole body dynamic weight training session. It’s your gym day, minus the gym. Build muscle and improve your form as you push, pull, hinge, lunge or carry your way to whole body progressive overload.

  • Postnatal Mat Pilates

    Our baby friendly and postnatally designed Mat Pilates. Combining Pilates exercises and principles with weight based strength training, Dynamic Mat Pilates is a gentle but powerful workout.

  • Dynamic Mat Pilates

    Combining Pilates exercises and principles with weight based strength training, Dynamic Mat Pilates is a gentle but powerful workout. Using equipment such as dumbbells, the mini ball and the Pilates ring this 50 minute workout will challenge balance and coordination along with strength and flexibility, providing you with a more mindful approach to strength training.

  • Mobility + Muscle Release

    Join us for a mobility session, curated specifically to strengthen your body through range of motion and support your training so you may continue to move smoothly, freely and as safely as possible. Expect some strength work, targeted muscle release through the use of rollers and balls, all finishing with a short flow designed to calm the nervous system and wind you down.

  • Stretch + Strengthen

    Support your training and show your body some love with this stretch and strengthening session. Incorporating active flex, as well as passive, you'll work to strengthen end ranges before going into a deeper more relaxing stretch flow.

Built Studios is an intimate space, but with everything you could possibly need or dream of. We believe that your fitness environment can be more than just functional. Your space can also feel like somewhere you want to be. Like home. Fitted with the best BlkBox equipment, we provide premium kit, alongside premium coaches. We won’t sell you short on that.

Women Only

Our aim is to create a space where women feel safe, strong and excited to train, yet confident to fail (a lift!). Within these four walls, expect to build not just your body, your confidence or your knowledge - but a sense of camaraderie with other likeminded women.

Where are we?

Built Studios is based at Anerley Works, approximately 5 minutes from Anerley station or a 15 minute walk from the Crystal Palace Triangle. We are the first unit as you enter the carpark, on the corner, with the nice natural light in the late morning.
