Terms and Conditions of Use – Built Studios
Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before participating in any classes, personal training sessions, or other services provided by Built Studios. By purchasing a membership, class credit, or block, and by entering or using the studio, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Membership Terms
1.1 Minimum Commitment Period:
All memberships are subject to a minimum commitment of three (3) calendar months. During this period, early termination is not permitted except under exceptional circumstances, which must be discussed and agreed upon in writing with studio management.
1.2 Rolling Membership:
After the initial three-month commitment, memberships automatically convert to a rolling monthly agreement. You may cancel your membership at any time thereafter, with cancellations taking effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No partial refunds or pro-rata charges will be issued for early cancellation within a billing cycle.
1.3 Credit Usage and Expiry:
Class credits included in memberships must be used within their designated billing cycle. Unused credits do not automatically roll over to the next billing period. It is your responsibility to use your credits before they expire.

2. Class and PT Block Purchases
2.1 Validity Period:
Blocks of classes or personal training sessions must be used within the validity period specified at the time of purchase. Extensions may be granted at the sole discretion of Built Studios, but are not guaranteed.
2.2 Late Cancellation and No-Show Policy – Classes:
If you cancel a class less than 12 hours before its scheduled start time, you will forfeit the associated credit and incur a £10 late cancellation fee, which will be charged to your account.
2.3 Late Cancellation – Personal Training:
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled personal training session will result in the full loss of the session credit. No rescheduling or refund will be permitted.

3. Studio Use and Safety
3.1 Personal Responsibility:
While we endeavour to provide a safe and supportive environment, all participants are responsible for ensuring they move through and train within the studio space safely and with due care.
3.2 Health Considerations:
You must not attend any classes, sessions, or events if you are feeling unwell, experiencing symptoms of illness, or have a communicable condition. You are also responsible for informing the studio and your instructor of any existing or new injuries or medical conditions. You must not participate in training if you have not been cleared to do so by your GP, physiotherapist, or medical consultant when relevant.
3.3 Injury and Liability:
Built Studios accepts no responsibility for any injuries sustained while on the premises or during any studio-led activities. By participating, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk. Any damage to equipment, property, or persons caused by your negligence or misuse of the space is your responsibility. You may be held liable for repair or replacement costs.

4. Studio Rules and Etiquette
To maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all, we ask that all members and guests observe the following rules:
4.1 Instructor Authority:
You must follow the instructions of your coach or instructor at all times. They are responsible for guiding your session and ensuring the safety of the group.
4.2 Reformer Classes:
If you are participating in a Reformer Pilates session, you must remain on your designated reformer bed for the entire duration of the class unless otherwise instructed. This is to ensure safety and class flow.
4.3 Strength Training Area (Lift Room):
• All barbells must be clipped with collars before lifting.
• Do not perform lifts (e.g., squats, deadlifts) near someone who is seated or lying on the floor behind or beside you.
• Always maintain spatial awareness. If someone near you is performing a high-risk movement that you have not been instructed to perform, or appears to be doing something unsafe, you should move to a safe distance and alert a coach immediately.
4.4 Mutual Respect:
All members are expected to respect the space, equipment, and each other. Any form of aggressive behaviour, harassment, or non-compliance with safety protocols will result in immediate removal from the session and potential suspension or termination of membership.

5. General Policies
5.1 Changes to Schedule and Services:
Built Studios reserves the right to modify the class schedule, substitute instructors, and change services at its discretion. Where possible, reasonable notice will be provided.
5.2 Payment and Fees:
All fees must be paid in full and in advance. Late payments may result in suspension of booking privileges. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
5.3 Updates to Terms:
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change. Members will be notified of significant updates via email or through the booking platform. Continued use of the studio after changes have been made constitutes your agreement to the revised terms.
