Calisthenics at Built
Calisthenics is about learning what your body can really do — moving, lifting, and supporting your own weight with strength, control, and confidence. Think pull-ups, push-ups, hangs, balances — and all the strength and mobility that come with them.
At Built, we approach calisthenics differently. Our programs are designed by women, for women — taking into account how we move, how we build strength, and how we hold our bodies. Every session is scalable and coached with progressions that meet you where you are.
You don’t need to be able to do a single push-up or pull-up to start. With clear paths for progression and a supportive environment to help you build strength, coordination, and confidence.
Wherever you’re starting from, we’ll meet you there — and show you what your body’s capable of.
Our Calisthenics Options
Foundations
The perfect starting point. No experience, no prerequisites — just curiosity and a willingness to learn. We’ll focus on form, control, and building the foundations of upper-body and core strength.
Signature
A step up for those ready to challenge themselves. We simply ask that you can hang from the bar for around 10 seconds, link a few push-ups together (even elevated), and hold a 30-second plank. From there, we’ll progress your strength and skills safely and intelligently.
Cali x Strength Lab
A hybrid of calisthenics and strength training — where bodyweight meets barbells. Expect movements like chin-ups or push-up progressions paired with accessory or compound lifts designed to build the exact strength you need for calisthenics. Open level, adaptive, and a beautiful bridge between the Lift Room and calisthenics.
When do they run?
Sessions run on Wednesday at lunchtime and across Sunday 11.15am and 12.30pm.
